Terry O’Quinn, best known for his role of John Locke On ABC’s “Lost”, will come back to the network that made him famous.
The Hollywood Reporter was first to report that the veteran actor has boarded the upcoming second season of “Secrets & Lies”, which features an all-new cast, aside from returning investigator Andrea Cornell, played by Juliette Lewis.
The new season centers on newlywed Eric Warner (Michael Ealy) and the investigation into his wife’s murder.
O’Quinn will play Eric’s father, a charming and lovable finance magnate and the adoring father of three children. He built his Charlotte private-equity firm on a model of honesty and morality and has achieved great success. Now, ready to retire, he’s passing the reins on to his heir apparent and eldest son, Eric (Ealy). However, when the party celebrating Eric’s promotion results in the murder of his wife Kate, John’s plans are abruptly put on hold, as he attempts to lead his family and his company through this shocking tragedy.
Also added to the cast is Mekia Cox, who will play Eric’s sister, a successful criminal attorney who rushes to her brother’s side when he’s targeted by Cornell in investigation into Kate’s death.
Meanwhile, ABC Family has announced that Damon Dayoub, who recurs on freshman drama “Stitchers” during the currently airing first season, will be a series regular when the show returns for its sophomore run in 2016.
