Some good news for fans of several series.
AMC has ordered an eighth season of “The Walking Dead”, a week ahead of its season seven premiere.
The episode number will remain the same – 16 episodes for next season, all followed by the traditional “Talking Dead” after-show talk.
Meanwhile, Amazon has picked up its drama “Bosch” for a fourth season, also ahead of the premiere of the next, third, season.
“We are excited to announce the fourth season renewal of Amazon Prime Video’s longest running original drama series,”Roy Price, president of Amazon Studios, said in a statement. “Prime members have loved following Detective Harry Bosch as he navigates difficult situations in his professional and personal lives, and we’re excited to let them know that even more is coming.”
And earlier, MTV, ahead of the two-hour Halloween special airing tomorrow night, has renewed “Scream” for a third season. The episode count, however, has been reduced to six.
