Hell stays in business over at FOX.
The network has handed out a back-nine order for its drama “Lucifer”. It’s initial second-season pickup was only for 13 episodes. Now the sophomore run will consist of 22 episodes.
Earlier, Disney Channel has ordered a fourth helping of its sitcom “Young “& Hungry”, which stars Emily Osment.
That loud sigh of relief you’re hearing comes from the people involved in and the fans rooting for two FOX freshman shows.
The network has officially renewed supernatural Drama “Lucifer” as well as medical drama “Rosewood”. The two join previously renewed dramedy “Scream Queens” in the list of picked up freshman shows.
Still awaiting their fate are comedies “Grandfathered” and “The Grinder”. Another comedy, “New Girl”, is currently being mulled for a two-season renewal. Drama “Sleepy Hollow” has good chances of coming back as well, since it’s also owned by Fox.
Not expected to return are Dramas “Minority Report” and “Second Chance”. On the comedy side, things look pretty dark for “Cooper Barrett’s Guide To Surviving Life” and “Bordertown”.
