– Brian White (“Scandal”) has booked a recurring arc on NBC’s “Chicago Fire”, per Deadline. He will play Dallas Patterson, the new Squad Captain.
Last week, TVLine reported that “The Vampire Diaries” alum Steven R. McQueen has joined the show as well. He’ll recur as new candidate Jimmy Borelli, who makes a dramatic entrance on his first day of work — and that doesn’t sit well with Chief Boden.
– Eva LaRue (“CSI: Miami”) has joined the cast of Netflix’ “Fuller House”. The actress tweeted the news herself, saying that she will play Danny’s (Bob Saget) new wife, Teri.
– According to the Hollywood Reporter, Laura San Giacomo (“Saving Grace”, “Just Shoot Me”) has been added to the cast of ABC Family’s upcoming drama “Recovery Road”. In the series about teenage Maddie (Jessica Sula, “Skins”), who is forced to enter rehab for her addiction issues after her guidance counselor (Alexis Carra, “Mixology”) threatens her with expulsion, San Giacomo plays rebellioous artist Gina, who is also an AA sponsor who has concerns about a recovering alcoholic whom she helped years ago.
– Also per the Hollywood Reporter, Andrew Lees and Rebecca Breeds have been tapped to recur on The CW’s “The Originals” next season. Lees is set as Lucien, a member of Klaus’ sire line who comes to New Orleans with a secret agenda involving Klaus. He’s described as intelligent, charming, wildly successful and at ease with princes and paupers alike. He prides himself on being two steps ahead of everyone else. Breeds will play the enigmatic Aurora, who is described as sexy, seductive, witty and free-spirited — the life of the party. However, she also has a dark side, and is also known for being malevolent, dangerous and extremely violent.
