Netflix is keeping it strange for next summer.
The streaming service has officially renewed its freshman drama “Stranger Things” for a second season of nine (versus the first season’s eight) episodes.
The show is expected to jump a year into the future and be set in 1984.
Here’s the official teaser video.
Meanwhile, Paget Brewster, who was a series regular on CBS’ “Criminal Minds” for several seasons, is no longer expected to appear in a few episodes of the upcoming twelfth season. She is going to be a series regular again, reprising her role as SSA Emily Prentiss.
“We’re all so excited to have Paget with us full time,” executive producer Erica Messer said in a statement. “The BAU family has definitely missed her, on screen and off. Having her back on set has been great, it’s like she never left.”
