NBC is staying in business with Dick Wolf.
The network has officially renewed its freshman series “Chicago Med” for a second, and veteran police procedural “Law & Order: SVU” for an eighteenth season.
And from before the weekend:
– MTV has canceled “Finding Carter” after two seasons.
– Netflix has renewed “House of Cards” for a fifth season. And it has officially ordered the revival of “Gilmore Girls”, with creator Amy Sherman-Palladino writing and directing all the installments, and of course, Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel are back in their respective signature roles of Lorelai and Rory Gilmore.
– The second season of “Stitchers” will premier on March 22 on Freeform.
