Looks like time is running out again for Kiefer Sutherland.
News just came in that FOX has officially canceled its drama “Touch” after two seasons.
This makes tonight’s episode the series finale.
Winter is coming, and once it’s here, it won’t be long until various new and returning shows grace our TV screens again.
FOX has announced its winter premiere dates for three of its series. They are as follows:

FOX’ fall schedule is now officially out of “Touch”.
The network has announced in a press release that it has shifted its scheduled premiere of the second season of the Kiefer Sutherland drama “Touch” from October to midseason – January, to be as exact as possible, because the specific time slot remains TBD.
It’s time for another one of those pesky casting items. I’ve decided to let the other one from last week, which got eaten by the blog software, slide, as it simply got too old until I had time again to update.
So here’s what happened recently – after the jump.
FOX is apparently not done adding more talent to the upcoming sophomore season of its Kiefer Sutherland-starring drama “Touch”, and also add another “24″ alum to reunite with Kiefer Sutherland
The network has just issued a press release, confirming the addition of Lukas Haas as a new series regular, but also announcing that 13-year-old newcomer Saxon Sharbino has joined the FOX drama as a new regular as well.
It appears that Dr. Hannibal Lecter has found his match – and said match looks uncannily like a girl from Wonderfalls.
Creator Bryan Fuller has tweeted that he has cast Caroline Dhavernas (“Wonderfalls”, “Off The Map”) as the female lead in NBC’s upcoming series “Hannibal”, which chronicles the early days of the titular character.

- TVLine’s Megan Masters reports that Ryan McPartlin (“Chuck”) has been added to the cast of “Touch”-based web series “Daybreak”. No details were given on his character in the series that centers on the Dodecahedron, the 12-sided shape that was recently introduced on “Touch”, and will figure into next week’s two-hour first season finale.
- Also form the same article, the Daytime Emmys have found a place to air. HLN will broadcast the ceremony, which takes place on Saturday, June 23, at 8/7c PM.
A few news bits from today.
- We already know for a while that Lindsay Lohan is playing the iconic Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime’s upcoming movie based on the movie star. But as of today, courtesy of Deadline, we also know who will play another, equally iconic character. Grant Bowler (“True Blood”, “Ugly Betty”) has been cast to play Richard Burton, the actor who was married twice to Taylor. His casting was finalized today after a reading with Lindsay Lohan. Production is set to begin on June 4, for an air date TBD.
