Well, we had to kind of see it coming…
According to TVLine’s Matt Webb Mitovich, Syfy has finally made a decision on its green-screen heavy series “Sanctuary” – and canceled it.
The various stars of the show have taken to Twitter to offer their reactions.
Amanda Tapping, whose lead character Dr. Helen Magnus was the heart and center of “Sanctuary”, wrote, “‘Bloody hell’ indeed,” shortly after word came in. Before that, Tapping had much praise. “We love and adore you. Thank you for the love and support. Now to the long dark tea time of my soul.”
Robin Dunne, who played Will Zimmerman, shared the following: “Thanks to our wonderful @SanctuarySeries fans for 4 years of love & support. You gave us a great life. See you on the next one. XO.”
Ryan Robbins, who played Henry, had only kind words. “Truly overwhelmed by all the wonderful #Sanctuary messages. You guys continue to be full of awesomeness. #bestfansever,” while Robert Lawrenson (Declan) tweeted, “A huge thank you to the phenomenal Sanctuary fans, cast, crew & producers for a wonderful run. Look back with pride and forward with spirit.”
