Well, the fun is about to start.
The upfronts are fast approaching, and it’s about the time when the networks will have to make decisions – what to keep, what to toss, and what to pick up.
Good news comes from the offices at ABC. Deadline’s Nellie Andreeva reports that the Alphabet is currently mulling a two-season renewal for its successful procedural “Castle”. “Alphas” has returned to Syfy two weeks ago, and has already announced a slew of high-profile guest stars for the current season.
But now, co-executive producer/writer Robert Hewitt Wolfe has tweeted that there will be at least one more genre-familiar name coming to the show.
Lisa Ryder, who played the female lead of Beka Valentine on “Andromeda” back in the day, has signed on for a guest role on “Alphas”. No more details are available at this point.
