Deadline’s Nellie Andreeva reports that Ashley Madekwe, who played Ashley Davenport on ABC drama “Revenge” for two seasons, will not be returning for the third season in the fall.
And more renewals are raining in.
ABC has also officially renewed its fairy-tale drama “Once Upon A Time”, as well as “Revenge” and bubble comedy “Suburgatory”.
Well, the fun is about to start.
The upfronts are fast approaching, and it’s about the time when the networks will have to make decisions – what to keep, what to toss, and what to pick up.
Good news comes from the offices at ABC. Deadline’s Nellie Andreeva reports that the Alphabet is currently mulling a two-season renewal for its successful procedural “Castle”. Additionally, “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Scandal”, “Once Upon A Time”, “Revenge”, “The Middle” and “Modern Family” are considered locks for renewals, as are reality formats “Shark Tank”, “The Bachelor” and “Dancing With The Stars”, with the latter maybe getting less episodes in its next edition.

“Alphas” has returned to Syfy two weeks ago, and has already announced a slew of high-profile guest stars for the current season.
But now, co-executive producer/writer Robert Hewitt Wolfe has tweeted that there will be at least one more genre-familiar name coming to the show.
Lisa Ryder, who played the female lead of Beka Valentine on “Andromeda” back in the day, has signed on for a guest role on “Alphas”. No more details are available at this point.
This might qualify as a spoiler for some, so read at your own risk after the jump.
The latest in terms of TV news, all neatly gathered in one place.
