On the verge of the freshly released trailer for the upcoming fifth and final season of AMC’s “Breaking Bad”, which will launch on Sunday, July 15 at 10/9c PM, news has just come in that the show will add a feminine touch by casting Scottish actress Laura Fraser in an “important” role, per EW’s Dan Snierson.

Up to this point, all we got to see from the upcoming fifth and final season of AMC’s highly acclaimed drama “Breaking Bad” was a very short teaser.

- Per TVLine’s Vlada Gelman, “Gilmore Girls” alum Chris Eigeman has joined the cast of Amy Sherman-Palladino’s new ABC Family series “Bunheads”, where he will play Conor, the director of a play that Michelle (Sutton Foster) and Fanny (Kelly Bishop) attend.
The Broadcast TV Journalists Association has announced the nominations for the upcoming second annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards today.
While it was having a tough time this year with time slot shifts, moves and a renewal that came in quite late, NBC’s “Community” is now being the show in the spotlight, as it has scored the most nominations of them all – six. AMC’s “Breaking Bad”, NBC’s “Parks & Recreation” and HBO’s half-hour comedy “Girls” are following with five nominations each.
AMC has officially revealed the poster for the upcoming first half of the fifth season of “Breaking Bad”. The show returns on Sunday, July 15 at 10/9c PM.
