The lineup of guest stars for the upcoming 14th season of NBC’s “Law & Order: SVU” has just gotten more impressive.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Anna Chlumsky (“Veep”, “My Girl”) has signed on to appear in one episode, titled “Twenty-Five Acts”, alongside Roger Bart (“Desperate Housewives”) and Raul Esparza (“A Gifted Man”).
The story of the episode centers on the writer of an erotic fiction bestseller (Chlumsky), who accuses a renowned talk-show host (Bart) of brutal rape. Things get interesting when the detectives find out that her description of events matches the chapters in her book. Together with the DA’s office (Esparza), the police tries to keep the case from turning into a media frenzy.
