CBS’ “Criminal Minds” has found its replacement for the departing Paget Brewster, and “Warehouse 13″ over on Syfy will get a prolonged visit from Commander Data.
According to TVLine’s Michael Ausiello, Jeanne Tripplehorn (“Big Love”) has joined the veteran CBS procedural as a new series regular for next season. She will play “a new profiler,” per exec producer Erica Messer, and will be debuting in the season 8 premiere.
Meanwhile, Brent Spiner has joined the cast of “Warehouse 13″ for at least six episodes, TV Guide’s Michael Logan reports. Spiner, who is of course best known for his role as the android Commander Data on “Star Trek: The Next Generation”, will be playing Brother Adrian, leader of the Brotherhood of the Knights of the Black Diamond, a top-secret sect that will pose as quite the adversary for the Warehouse agents, as they try to put their lives back together after the events of last season’s finale.
