When ABC’s comedy “Last Man Standing” will return in the fall for its sophomore season, some things will be different.
The thing you’ll notice on screen is that Alexandra Krosney, who played Kristin Baxter, Mike (Tim Allen) and Vanessa’s (Nancy Travis) eldest daughter on the show, has been let go for creative reasons, reports TVLine’s Michael Ausiello. The role is said to be recast.
And according to Deadline’s Nellie Andreeva, change is also coming to “Last Man Standing” behind the scenes. Kevin Abbott, who ran the show after creator Jack Burditt left, is now stepping down from the post as well. Writer-producer Tim Doyle (“Rules of Engagement”) has been tapped to replace him. Abbott will remain with the show as an executive producer, alongside Doyle, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, Shawn Levy, Tim Allen, Kevin Hench, Rick Baker, Richard Messina.
“Last Man Standing” will air on Fridays in the fall, at 8/7c PM.

Don’t like the new actress, bring back Alexandra Krosney.
Love Tim Allen BUT really don’t like the new girl — will no longer watch.
How do you ruin a good show?
Watch the 2nd season of LMS.
Bring back Alexandra or I’m done watching.
Was a funny show. Can’t stand Boyd’s pussy father, or the new girl. Why is it you morons always screw up good shows. I’m done with it.
