It’s not that FX’ upcoming second season of “American Horror Story” doesn’t already have a great ensemble – returning Jessica Lange (in a different role from season one), Chloë Sevigny, James Cromwell, Maroon 5′s lead singer Adam Levine, Zachary Quinto – and the list goes on. But it looks like it’s still not enough.
EW’s Tim Stack reports today that British actor Joseph Fiennes (“FlashForward”) is in negotiations to join the second season of the acclaimed FX creepfest as a series regular.
If things fall into place, Fiennes will play the head of the mental institution where Lange’s character works, and will also be romantically involved with her. Nothing more has leaked of the part, other than that he’s “tortured”.
