John Carroll Lynch is about to switch his medical friends.
The actor, who has been a regular on ABC’s “Body of Proof” since the very first episode, will not be part of the medical procedural’s upcoming third sea on, TVLine’s Kimberly Roots reports. His option for next season was not picked up.
But Lynch won’t be without a job for long. According to the source, Lynch will be joining NBC’s new medical drama “Do No Harm” as a series regular. The show stars Steven Pasquale (“Rescue Me”) as a neurosurgeon with a dangerous alter-ego that will mess up his life. Lynch plays the guy’s NA sponsor. He was a guest star in the pilot.
