Per TVLine’s Megan Masters, after FOX’ “Fringe” and NBC’s “Smash” will have to deal with various actors not returning to their respective regular roles next season, the same fate has now befallen one of the signature shows of The CW.
Gillian Zinser, who plays surfer girl Ivy on “90210″, will not be around when the show re-surfaces in October. However, the actress is said to be on hand for guest spots. It is not yet set in how many episodes Ivy will be present.
The writing was kind of on the wall with her character traveling to Mexico at the end of the current season.
