According to TVLine’s Nellie Andreeva, the first angel of the new “Charlie’s Angels” has been found.
Annie Ilonzeh (“General Hospital”) has nabbed one of the three leads.
The show is a modern take on the “Angels” concept, set in Miami. Kate, Abby and Marisa are private detectives working for a wealthy mystery man, only known as “Charlie” (Robert Wagner).
Ilonzeh plays Kate, an ex-cop, athletic and skilled in martial arts. She is described as the most serious of the three.
